Barn Baba

I dropped this watercolor off at Eye Candy Gallery in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland for the Art Walk yesterday. I am a featured artist for the month of July and have 8 paintings there. The Art Walk was a really great time... the shops, neighborhood and people... so fun. I was born in that neighborhood and it is nice to see the new restaurants, galleries, studios, museums, churches.... go if you get a chance!
Taste of Tremont is coming up too as well as the next art walk the second friday in august.

Maria, I think this just became my favorite of your Baba series. This is magnificent - one can only wonder what she is contemplating. The reds and purples in the rectangles behind her are strokes of genius. I LOVE this!

Maria, I love Barn Baba, too! At first glance I didn't even notice the subtle abstraction in your background. It's beautifully done and provides just the right emphasis to the subject. Wonderful!
