Wig Window

I have been pretty busy with classes and doing demos and have not had anything to put up that I would like to share... That is till today, when I finally sat down to do the DSFDF challenge. I kept putting it off, not sure how to handle it, played with acrylic but in the end went back to watercolors and had fun! I would love to do this one more time to work a few bugs out, but tomorrow Karin will post a new challenge and it is time to put these last few weeks away. Just waiting for spring...

Maria, this is a wonderful painting. You gave it that upscale, downtown, boutique style window look and feel. Very rich looking!

Thank you Dominique and Vern. This is a painting I never would have thought of doing if not for DSFDF. It was fun.

I envy how quickly you set this down on paper! The implied reflections really give it a feeling of being behind glass.

Hi Maria, love what you did with the wig window. Yes, we watercolor artists gotta stick together...watercolor rules!

This turned out great! I like the natural color pallette you chose for this one!

Love that tackled the glass and did a great job, I bypassed it myself/

Very nice you captured the store window feel and it's not cluttered!

Well done, Maria! The overlying glass reflections are great!
