victorian for DSFDF

This is my image from the latest DSFDF challenge. I tried to find my own point of view for this. It wasn't easy because every time I checked to see what the others had done, they were so good and had many great interpretations. So for our next challenge, either I get on it as soon as I get the challenge or don't look to see what the others have done (and that is the fun part!) until I finish mine.

Maria - I really like your interpretation. Great colours and composition - it is very moody. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Thanks for the nice comments on my painting, Edward, Jennifer, Sheila and Dana. So far the dsfdf has been a great opportunity to plan, paint and learn. I look forward the next one.

Funny thing is....Your viewpoint hands down is my favorite. I like those types of angles. The pieces of the whole. I really do! Good job!

You have truly made this one your own! Great cropped composition plus strong, vibrant, complementary colors!

Your interpretation is just excellent. Nice point of view. Thank you for your visit, Maria. Do you speak russian? Мне всегда интересно встретить особенный взгляд артиста. Поздравляю. Ваш вариант один из наиболее неординарных.

Oh! Your Victorian is just great.
(I'm with you, I prefer to not see what anyone else has created until I've finished mine. I think if I'd seen yours before I started I would have just bowed out this time.)

The purple into gold sky is mesmerizing alongside the ultramarine of the house. Very nice!
